yummmyyyy dates ^^

oooo emmmm geeee....seriously i love dates soooo much...
and now i think im addcted to it..hahaha..
i dont know why but when it comes to Ramadhan the things that i cant resist is dates..
dont you..??




it looks nice huh..


as you all knows, the health benefits of dates are innumerable...
it is, in fact, a dry fruit that is sweet in taste and rich in minerals and vitamins...
 ok here i listed all the benefits from eating dates..


  • Dates are a great source of dietary fiber which is beneficial for the digestive system.
  • Dates are fat and cholesterol free. ( iA x gmok nyer..haha..)
  • Dates have the highest concentration of polyphenols among dried fruits.
  • Dates are a perfect energy boosting snacks because it contains naturally occurring sugars such as fructose, glucose and sucrose which are easily digested by the body therefore providing instant energy.
  • Date is an excellent source of potassium. Potassium is an essential mineral your body needs to maintain muscle contractions including the vital heart muscle. It is therefore beneficial in strengthening the heart. ( soo that ur heart cant easily broken...huhu..)
  • Dates contain a variety of B-complex vitamins which function to metabolize carbohydrates and maintain blood sugar levels, and fatty acids for energy.
  • Dates contain Magnesium which is essential for healthy bone development and for energy metabolism.
  • Dates also contain Iron which is essential to red blood cell production. Red blood cells carry all the nutrients to cells throughout the body. Dates can help to prevent and treat anemia.
  • Date is a mild laxative fruit, it is therefore highly beneficial in the treatment of constipation as the roughage provided by it stimulates sluggish bowels.

ok as you all knows, dates can be chipped and sprinkled on sweet dishes, cakes and puddings and this enhances the state of the dish...selection of dates is very easy and you can have good ones if they appear fleshy and evenly coloured...but make sure there is no artificial sugar coating ....no..no..no..=)

dates can be introduced in daily diet in any form...
you can introduce it in the form of snacks...
adding dates in any form makes the food tasty and healthy...
it fills anyone with energy no matter how tired he/she is...
soo its good for us especially during this fasting month..=)

but remember guys you should buy and consume only those dates that are properly packed and processed...no matter how beneficial dates are, you need to take care while choosing them...^^
